CHRISTOPHER D. YECKLEY.

  Thursday night, January 16, Christopher D. Yeckley died at his home at Dry 
Run, Juniata township, aged about 23 years.  He was a son of Jacob (deceased) 
and Amanda Yeckley.
  On January 22, 1912, he was united in marriage with Miss Laura Leichty, 
who, with an infant son, survives him, as does his mother.  His funeral took 
place on January 20, from his late home where services were held.  Interment 
was made in Carson Valley cemetery.
  Mr. Yeckley taught school two terms, but gave up the profession owing to 
failing health.  In preparing for teaching he attended the summer normal 
school in Martinsburg several terms, and was a student here four years ago.
