Yinger Mrs. Grace Isabel Yinger of Nealmont Manor, Tyrone RD 4, died Friday at 2:05 p.m. at her home following an extended illness. She was born December 14, 1892, at Warriors Mark Valley, the daughter of Frank L. and Anna M. (Waite) Peck. On November 14, 1918, at Tyrone, she was married to James A. Yinger who died September 12, 1935. She had been a lifelong resident and was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church with 80 years continuous membership for which she was recognized November 13, 1977, as the member with the longest continuous membership. She was also a member of Warriors Mark Grange 974, Huntingdon County Pomona Grange and National Grange. A member of Fort Roberdeau Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, during World War II she was active as a volunteer worker and supporter of the Waring Canteen and for many years was active in music circles, having taught a number of youth. She is survived by two daughters, Mr. Bertand E. (Anna Mary) DeNevers, Slatersville, R.I., Mrs. Charles F. (Florence Margurite) Prevost, Menlo Park, Calif.; and four grandchildren. Two sisters also survive: Miss Margurite Pack [sic], at home and Mrs. Earl (Florence) Oster, Tyrone. Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Getz and Searer Funeral Home, Tyrone, with the Rev. W. Sherwood Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., January 7, 1978
