MRS. CARRIE B. YINGLING

Of 709 1/2 24th St., died at 11 a.m. yesterday at her home after a 
brief illness. She was born in Puzzletown March 26, 1883, a daughter of 
Austin P. and Annie (Burtnett) Shaw. Surviving are three children, John 
A., at home, Elwood W. and Mrs. Alverta Forsht of Altoona; four 
grandchildren, one sister and three brothers, Harvey and Mrs. Marie 
Long of Newry, Robert of Duncansville and Alvin of Warriors Mark. A 
son, Harold E., preceded her in death. She was of the Methodist faith. 
Friends will be received at the Stevens Mortuary after 7 p.m. today.
