All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _______________________________________________ Woman Dies Of Sudden Heart Attack Suffering a sudden heart attack, Mrs. Mary Amanda Yingling, aged 77, of 229 Second avenue died about 7.30 o'clock last evening while visiting at the home of a friend, Mrs. Paul Leiden of 303 Sixth avenue. She had been in apparent good health and was quite active. Mrs. Yingling went to the Leiden home about 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon, Deputy Coroner Edgar G. Walls learned on visiting the home after being notified of the woman's death by city police. Mrs. Leiden left the home to do some shopping late in the afternoon and returned to find Mrs. Yingling collapsed on the kitchen floor, the fatal attack having occurred as she was making coffee there. At the home at the time but unaware of Mrs. Yingling's death was Mrs. Leiden's sister, Paula Ciambotti of 626 Second avenue, Juniata, who was sitting with the Leiden children on the front porch of the home. Mrs. Yingling was born in Altoona Aug. 17, 1868, a daughter of David and Mary (Grove) Miller. Her husband, D. W. Yingling, died Sept. 28, 1945, and she is survived only by nieces and nephews. She was a member of the First Lutheran church. Friends will be received at the N. A. Stevens mortuary after 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon.
