DOMINICK ZANG Died Early Today in Altoona Hospital The second day of the new year has saddened the home of Dominick Zang, 702 Park avenue, in the passing into the life beyond of the best friend in the home, the wife and mother. Mrs. Zang had been afflicted the past month with arthritis and heart trouble. On Christmas afternoon she was taken to the Altoona hospital where she was given temporary relief, later suffering a relapse, growing weaker until she fell peacefully asleep at 6:50 o'clock this morning. Angeline Pavone Zang was a daughter of Joseph and Isabel Pavone. She was born in Tyrone, May 8, 1894 and resided here all her life. On September 3, 1913 she was united in marriage with Dominick Zang, who with two children, Mary and Joseph, survive to mourn the passing of a loving and devoted wife and mother. Mrs. Zang is also survived by her parents and these brothers and sisters: Joseph, John and Frank Pavone, Tyrone; Lawrence Pavone, Bellefonte; Mrs. Mary Barber, Misses Rose and Isabel of Tyrone. Mrs. Zang was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic church. She was thoroughly devoted to her home life and was earnest in her endeavors to help others. Funeral services will be conducted in St. Matthew's Catholic church on Tuesday morning at nine o'clock by Rev. Father James Tolan. Interment in Oak Grove cemetery.
