Zeigler, a popular young man of Leamersville, died at the home of his parents, at 3 p.m., Friday, from pneumonia, following an attack of influenza, having been sick but one week. He was born at Springhope, Bedford county, Jan. 20, 1898. His parents moved from Fishertown, Bedford county, to Leamersville in 1912. He attended the Roaring Spring High school and was a member of the graduating class of 1916. After graduating he was employed during the winter months as a clerk in the Twelfth street shops and assisted his father with the farm work during the summer. He was also employed for a short period at Claysburg. His father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. George Zeigler, survive, also two sisters, Jennie and Pearl, at home and one brother, Irvin, Philadelphia. He was prominent among the young people and well liked by all who knew him. Interment will be made in the cemetery at Fishertown. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
