Mrs. Regina Zeilinger Passed Away at the Home of David Schirm. Mrs. Regina Zeilinger, widow of the late John Zeilinger, died at the home of her son-in-law, David Schirm, on Adams avenue in the seventh ward of Tyrone borough, at fifteen minutes before 8 last Sunday evening. Born April 7, 1826, in the state of Wurtemberg, Germany, deceased was 71 years, 1 month and 23 days old, at the time of her death. Deceased's maiden name was Regina Kemmler. She came to America in July, 1852, and was married to John Zeilinger in September of the same year. She was confirmed as a member of the Lutheran church at the age of fourteen years, and was a member of the Lutheran church at Water Street, Huntingdon county, for about forty-five years. She was a sincere Christian woman, and was earnest in her devotion to her family, being the mother of eight children. The deceased's husband, John Zeilinger, died on the 7th of June, 1893. The following children survive: Leonard Zeilinger, who resides at Isett, in Blair County; Mrs. George Kidd, residing at Huntingdon; Mrs. Thomas Goodman, residing at Water Street; Mrs. David Schirm and Miss Rosa Zeilinger, residing in Tyrone. A son, Sigmond Zeilinger, died Nov. 19, 1889, and George and Anna died in infancy. Besides five children living, fourteen grandchildren survive their grandparents.
