ZIEGLER Mrs. Ziegler, 95, of 108 E. 4th Ave., died at 5 a.m. today, in Altoona Hospital, after an extended illness. She was born Oct. 6, 1888, in Mifflin, the daughter of Ralph C. and Rebecca (Moffit) Skipper, and was thrice married, first to Elmer Boyles, then to Thomas McMillen and in 1940, to William M. Ziegler. Surviving are her husband, four children: George R. Boyles in Ohio and Leroy B. McMillen, Edna M. Fusco and J. Marie Wengert of Altoona; a stepson, John Ziegler in California; 21 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Della Dean of Altoona. Mrs. Ziegler attended Greenwood United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Wide-a-Wake Sunday School Class. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata. ZIEGLER - Services for Bertha M. Ziegler of 108 E. 4th Ave. will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., Juniata, by the Rev. Glenn Barner. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
