Zimmerman of Washington, D.C., a former well known Tyrone young man, passed away Saturday afternoon after a short illness from pneumonia. He was the only son of Mrs. Martha Zimmerman of West Tenth street and was born here August 1, 1879. His father preceded him to the grave several years ago. He was a member of Sinking Springs lodge No. 127, Knights of Pythias and of the First Methodist Episcopal church. He was employed by the Washington Electric Company for the past six years. Surviving are his mother and two sisters, Mrs. Blanche Bennett of Washington, D.C., at whose home he died, and Mrs. Jesse Boyer, of Tyrone. The body was brought to the home of his mother where private funeral services will be held this afternoon at 4 o'clock in charge of Rev. A. S. Fasick, D.D. Interment in Grand View cemetery.
