Mr. Fickes is employed as a clerk by the Atlantic and Pacific Tea company, of this city. Justice of the Peace W. B. Fickes announced last evening that he has already received his share of Christmas presents, having recently been appointed mercantile appraiser and receiving a fine new grand-daughter but a few days earlier.
