Following is the list of deaths which occurred in Tyrone during the year 1888, as kept by the City Editor of the Herald. Jan. 5. - Rev. William M. Meminger, of dropsy of the heart, aged 66 yrs. M. E. church. Jan. 6. - Alfred Baney, bar-keeper at Pennsylvania House, in his 30th year of inflammatory rheumatism. Jan. 6. - An infant child of Archie Miller. Jan. 7. - John Peppernick, a Hungarian, struck by Day Express on mail line and died at Tyrone station. Jan. 9. - An infant grand-child of Joseph Hughes. Jan. 9. - Mrs. Elnora, wife of John Stroup, apoplexy, 29 yrs., 5 mos., and 1 day. M. E. church. Jan. 17. - Anna L., daughter of Barney Rourk and wife, aged 9 years and mos. And 17 days; scarlet fever. Jan. 24. - Ettie, daughter of Newton and Ella Rhodes, 11 mos. 3 weeks and 1 day; cholera infantum. Feb. 1. - Paul, a five months old child of R. S. and Naomi Seeds; pneumonia. Feb. 5. - Jessie, daughter of S. W. and Amanda Stonebraker; 1 yr 10 mos. and 7 days; whooping cough. Feb. 8. - An infant son of Jack Moulton. Feb. 9. - Albert, son of John F. Schrim and wife; 10 mos. and 6 days. Feb. 13. - Geo. W. Dean, aged 50 yrs. 1 month and 13 days; consumption. U. B. church. Feb. 17. - An infant daughter of Christian Buck and wife. Feb. 22. - An infant child of Mrs. Carr. Feb. 29. - Lulu, daughter of T. S. and Mary J. McTinyre; 5 mos. and 16 days. March 2. - Walter R., son of J. H. and Louisa Gibson of whooping cough, aged 9 mos. and 5 days. March 3. - Mrs. Elizabeth B. Dey, aged 64 years. March 5. - Earl Benson, son of Jerry and Elizabeth Davis, aged 1 yr. and 2 months. March 10. - George Bilger died from injuries to his spine caused by being thrown from delivery wagon of VanValzah & Wilson. Aged about 24 yrs. March 10. - Emma M., daughter of Martin and Louisa Herzog, aged 17 mos. and 4 days. March 29. - Mrs. Ann Farrell died of paralysis aged 67 yrs. Catholic church. March 30. - B. W. Bell; pneumonia; aged 28 yrs., 5 mos. and 9 days. April 8. - Rebecca Hays; dropsy and cancer of the breast; 61 yrs. Presbyterian church. April 10. - John W., son of J. H. and Annie M. Meese; congestion of the lungs; aged 3 yrs. and 2 mos. April 14. - An infant son of J. H. and Annie M. Meese. April 20. - Charles Thomas, a Prussian brewer in the employ of Jos. Hewel. April 22. - Mrs. Jennie Rider of heart disease. April 25. - Aaron Jones died of pulmonary consumption, aged 37 yrs., 9 mos. and 13 days. April 27. - An infant child of Hardin Gallagher and wife. Nowlin; aged 58 yrs. M. E. church. Aug. 19. - Mrs. Mary Palmer; aged 89 yrs. Presbyterian church. Aug. 25. - Howard, son of D. T. Kennedy and wife; aged 8 mos. Aug. 31. - S. M.
