At the Presbyterian parsonage at Allegheny City on Wednesday evening last Mr. Jacob Adams and Miss Sadie O. Glasgow, of this city, were joined in marriage by Rev. E. J. McKetrick. The event was witnessed by only the relatives of the couple. Mr. Adams is the foundry inspector in the upper shops of the Pennsylvania railroad company, in this place. He is also a member of the select branch of city council and has been the efficient chairman of the department of fire for a number of years. He has a host of friends who will be glad to learn of his good fortune to wed a young lady who is esteemed by a large circle of friends. Miss Glasgow is a daughter of the late Joseph Glasgow and is a lady well fitted to the post in life she has just assumed. They have taken up housekeeping in their beautiful home at No. 1508 Seventh avenue. The Tribune extends hearty congratulations and wishes them a life full of happiness and prosperity.
