George Huff Akers of this city, who recently returned from service in the United States army, and Miss Antoinette M. Musser, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Musser of 209 Fifth avenue, were united in marriage last evening at the home of the bride's parents. The house was beautifully and tastefully decorated for the event, which was witnessed by a number of relatives and intimate friends. The couple entered the parlor to the strains of a wedding march and were met by the officiating minister, the Rev. Samuel Simpson Carnell, pastor of the Fifth Avenue Methodist church, who performed the ceremony, the double ring rites being used. The attendants were Mrs. Paul Ebert and Lee Musser, the latter a brother of the bride. Following congratulations and best wishes an excellent wedding supper was served. Both are well known and popular young people of this city and they received numerous useful and handsome gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Akers left on the 10.35 train for a wedding trip to New York and upon their return they will make their home in this city. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., Friday, June 6, 1919
