At the Second Baptist church, Washington, D.C., at 2 o'clock Wednesday, January 24, Mr. Charles Allan and Miss Mary Lyon, of Harrisburg, were united in marriage by Rev. E. Hez Swem, an intimate friend of the groom. The young people were accompanied by the parents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Lyon, chief clerk of engineer's office, Pennsylvania railroad, Harrisburg. After their return from Washington Mr. and Mrs. Allen will make their home in Mechanicsburg, Pa., where the groom is the much esteemed pastor of the First Baptist church, while being also connected with one of the business houses of Harrisburg. The bride will be missed from the church circles of Harrisburg, where she has been a prominent and successful worker.
