All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ ANDERSON - SMITH A quiet and lovely late January wedding ceremony was solemnized at St. Peter's Lutheran church of Stowe, Pa., on Jan. 29, when Miss Lorma Smith, daughter of Mrs. Bessie Smith of 966 Pennsylvania avenue, became the bride of Mr. Harold Anderson, son of Mrs. Mary Anderson of 962 Pennsylvania avenue, Tyrone. The ceremony was performed by the bridegroom's brother, Rev. Kenneth Anderson. The couple was attended by Miss Grace Smith, sister of the bride, and Mr. Milton J. Slate of Reading. The bride looked lovely in a navy dress with white accessories and corsage of white carnations. The maid of honor wore a gold wool dress with brown accessories and corsage of red carnations. Following the ceremony, a reception was tendered at the home of Rev. Kenneth Anderson and relatives and friends were present from Reading, Shamokin, Stowe, Altoona and Tyrone.
