ROARING SPRING RIPPLES.

  Our informant last week misled us respecting the marriage of Mr. 
James Bark to Miss Winnie Irene Berkheimer, who were married by 'Squire 
Levi S. Biddle.  'Squire Biddle says the couple sent him word to come 
to Roaring Spring to marry them.  He took it for granted they had the 
license from the fact that they wished to be married.  He, however, 
took the precaution to ask for the license before-hand.  They told him 
they did not have it.  Mr. Biddle then made out the application for 
license and, after getting the same for them married them on the 
following day.  He not only had the pleasure of marrying them, but got 
a fee for making the preliminary papers.  We are pleased to make a 
correction.
