A pretty church wedding was solemnized at St. Mark's Catholic church at 8 o'clock last evening when Mr. P. C. Baynes, of Philadelphia, led to the altar Miss Jennie B. Yergy, of this city. The happy couple, attended by Miss Mary Yergy, a sister of the bride, and Mr. John Baynes, a brother of the groom, of Philadelphia, entered the church to Lohengrin's wedding march, rendered by Miss Cecelia McNellis, and advanced to the altar where Ref. Father N. J. O'Reilly united them in the holy bonds of wedlock. White bengaline silk, trimmed in mousseline and orange blossoms formed the bridal gown. The bridesmaid wore China silk and carried roses and carnations. The bridal party left the church to Mendelssohn's recessional and was driven to the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Yergy, 406 Lexington avenue, where a reception was tendered them. The bride is a young lady possessing all the qualities necessary to make a loving wife. The groom who is a popular young man, is employed as head night clerk at the Aldine hotel, on Chestnut street, Philadelphia. Mr. and Mrs. Baynes left on fast line for a trip to Boston and New York and on their return will take up their residence at 21 North Fifty-third street, Philadelphia.
