MISS SANDERS BECOMES BRIDE

  Miss Catherine Marie Sanders, daughter of Mrs. Eva Sanders of 2615 Maple 
avenue, and John William Bell of Broad avenue, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. 
W. Stewart Bell, former Bellwood residents, were united in marriage on 
Monday, July 12, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic church.  Rev. Father Philip 
O'Donnell officiated at the double-ring ceremony and sang the high nuptial 
mass.
  The altar was decorated with pink and white snapdragons and ferns.
  The bride, given in marriage by her brother, Joseph Sanders, was attended 
by her sister, Miss Louise Sanders.  J. Richard Bell, brother of the 
bridegroom was best man.  Ushers were William I. Johnson of Philadelphia and 
Robert Hiner of Altoona, brothers-in-law of the bride.
  Following the mass a breakfast was served at the home of the bride for 
members of the wedding party.  A reception was held in the afternoon for 
immediate families and close friends of the bride and bridegroom.  Mr. and 
Mrs. Bell left in the late afternoon for a wedding trip to Virginia Beach.
  Upon their return they will be at home to their friends in their newly-
furnished home at 2931 Oak avenue.
