Cupid's Doings.

  Yesterday afternoon Mr. John E. Bell was seen in Altoona as happy 
looking as a king, and when asked what was going on he told his friends 
he was going to Hollidaysburg.  John went there, and in the evening 
took unto himself a pretty little wife in the person of Miss Jennie 
Stone.  Quite a number of friends were present to wish the happy couple 
a God speed.

HOLLIDAYSBURG HAPPENINGS.

  The wedding of John E. Bell, Esq., and Miss Jennie Stone, daughter of 
Colonel William Stone, of the firm of McLanahan, Stone and Bailey, was 
a remarkably quiet affair.  About twenty persons were present, most of 
whom were relatives of the bride and groom.  They have the good wishes 
of all.
