Berkheimer and Miss Charlotta Reid, two popular members of Roaring Spring's younger set, were quietly married in the Eldon Inn parlors on Wednesday morning at 7 o'clock, Rev. E. L. Eslinger, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church, officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Reid, of Huntingdon, and has for the past four years very creditably filled the position as stenographer for the D. M. Bare Paper company. Dr. Berkheimer, the only son of Dr. and Mrs. F. B. Berkheimer, of New street, is one of Roaring Spring's progressive young dentists. The newlyweds left immediately after the ceremony for Philadelphia, New York and other eastern cities. Upon their return they will be at home to their many friends in the Eldon Inn, where Dr. Berkheimer and his bride have taken apartments for the winter.
