All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ Boome - Segmiller The home of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Segmiller, 919 Seventh avenue, was yesterday at noon the scene of a pretty wedding, the contracting parties being their daughter, Miss Emma C. Segmiller and Mr. I. R. Boome, of Tulsa, Okla. Reb. A. B. Bunn van Ormer, pastor of the Second Lutheran church, was the officiating clergyman and the beautiful ring ceremony was used in the tying of the nuptial knot. The wedding was one of pretty appointments, the house being tastefully decorated with mistletoe and fern with a large white bell hanging from the ceiling of the parlor where the ceremony was performed. Previous to the ceremony a duet, "O Promise Me" was rendered by Misses Pauline and Henrietta Segmiller. The wedding march was rendered by Miss Agusta Lamberger, of Dennison, O., and to its strains the couple, attended by Miss Mary and Mr. William Segmiller, brother and sister of the bride, entered the parlor and were united in the presence of a number of assembled guests. The bride was attired in a gown of silk mull and Irish point lace and carried a shower of white roses. The bridesmaid wore heliotrope crepe de chine trimmed in pink rosebuds. Following the ceremony the couple was showered with congratulations and a wedding dinner was served. The bride is a graduate nurse of West Penn hospital, Pittsburg, has a wide circle of friends, both here and in the western part of the state whose best wishes she will have for the future. The groom, until recently was employed in the Oklahoma oil field, but was recently transferred to Waynesburg, Pa., where the couple will take up their residence after a wedding trip to the western part of the state. Among the out-of-town guests were Misses Emma and Georgie Boome, of Waynesburg; Miss Agusta Lamberger, of Dennison, O., and Mrs. J. A. Gearhart and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gearhart, of Pittsburg.
