[photo] Betty Sidney Is Married In Church Rites Miss Betty Sidney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Sidney of 914 Pottsgrove avenue, became the bride of Domenick Bosso, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ferraro of 1615 Crawford avenue, in the Mount Carmel Catholic church on Thursday morning, June 24, at 10.30 o'clock. Father Christopher officiated the mass and the double-ring ceremony before an altar decorated with gladioli. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white bridal satin gown with a fitted bodice, sweetheart neckline, long sleeves ending in points over her hands, with a long train. Her fingertip veil was edged with lace and held by a coronet of beaded pearls. She carried a bouquet of white lilies. Mrs. Susan Castagnola, sister of the bridegroom. served as maid of honor. She was attired in a gown of yellow organdy, with matching gaunlets, caped sleeves, fitted bodice, high neckline and wore a veil of yellow net. She carried a bouquet of pink roses. The bridesmaid was Mrs. Ruth Sidney, sister-in-law of the bride, attired in a gown of blue marquisette with matching gaunlets and blue veil. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses. Miss Marcella Rosso was flower girl. She wore a gown of white satin with a veil made in the order of the bride's. The best man was Joseph Castagnola, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, the usher was Roy Sidney, brother of the bride. The mother of the bride wore a black and white dress with black accessories. The mother of the bridegroom chose a pink suit with white accessories. Both wore a corsage of white carnations. The dinner was held at Seidel's, following a reception held at the home of the groom for 100 guests. The bride is employed at the slipper factory.
