On Thanksgiving morning the solemn ceremony which united for life Mr. Dennis Boyle and Miss Lizzie Farrell in the holy bonds of matrimony was performed at St. John's Catholic church by the pastor, Rev. Father Ryan. Mr. James Myers, of Conemaugh, performing the office of groomsman and Miss Mary McCullough, of this city, was the bridesmaid. A large number of friends of the young people had assembled in the church, and after the ceremony, which took place at 10:30 o'clock, extended their congratulations and best wishes. Mr. Boyle is a conductor on the Pittsburgh division, and is a young gentleman of fine character and excellent social qualities. He has many friends along the line of the road and is universally esteemed. The bride's home is with the brothers and sisters on Seventeenth street. She is one of the most popular young ladies of St. John's congregation and has a host of friends in this city. Her many Christian virtues and agreeable disposition well fit her for her new station and will bring happiness and contentment to the home where she presides. The groom is to be congratulated on his excellent choice. The young couple departed for the East the same day, where they will visit the principal cities for a couple of weeks.
