The home of ex-Councilman and Mrs. C. A. Stoner, 723 West Washington avenue, was the scene of a pretty wedding on Thursday evening, when their daughter, Miss Ursa M. Stoner, became bride of Paul Boynton, the ceremony being performed by Rev. Augustus S. Fasick, D.D., pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church. The nuptials were without ostentation and witnessed only by the members of the immediate families and a few invited guests. The bride is one of Tyrone's most esteemed young ladies. After graduating from High school she became a student nurse in the Lewistown hospital where she was graduated, later being appointed as superintendent of the institution. After serving in this capacity for a short time she resigned and returned to her home in Tyrone where she followed her profession. The groom is a man of sterling qualities and is now employed as foreman and inspector of munitions at the Standard Steel works, Lewistown. Immediately following the ceremony a delicious dinner was served after which the happy young couple departed on a honeymoon tour through eastern cities. Upon their return they will reside in Lewistown. Altoona Tribune, Saturday morning, May 18, 1918, page 11
