B. Hughes of 911 Seventeenth street was given over to a number of relatives and friends last evening to witness the marriage of their daughter, Miss Eva A. Hughes, to Mr. Edward H. Breisacher, one of the best-known young men of the Seventh ward. The house was prettily and tastefully decorated for the occasion with autumn leaves, palms and carnations and was filled with fully half a hundred or more guests from and out of the city. The ceremony was performed in the parlor at 8 o'clock. The happy couple, preceded by little Misses Helen Aaron, Ethel M. Davis, Alberta Hughes, and Margaret Reighard as flower girls and Miss Belva L. Hughes, a sister of the bride, as bridesmaid, and Mr. G. W. Templeton as best man entered to Mendelssohn's wedding march, rendered by Rigg's orchestra. The ceremony was performed by Rev. George Murray Klepfer, pastor of the Eighth Avenue Methodist Episcopal church. Caterer Horton served the wedding luncheon. The esteem in which the couple is held was attested by the numerous pretty and useful presents the bride received. Mr. and Mrs. Breisacher departed later in the evening on a tour of the west and on their return will be at home to their friends after November 1 at 1607 Ninth.
