Miss Catherine Nelson and Chester R. Britten were united in marriage last evening at 5.30 at the home of the bride, at 806 Seventh avenue by the Rev. D. D. Kauffman, pastor of Grace Methodist Episcopal church. The ring ceremony was used. Mr. Britten is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert W. Britten of Osceola Mills and is employed as pay clerk in the paymaster's office of the United States army at Columbus, Ohio. He expects soon to be promoted to a lieutenancy. Mrs. Britten is the daughter of Mrs. Sarah Nelson and is a charming young woman. Mr. Luther Nelson, brother of the bride, acted as best man and Miss Carrie Gertrude Wolf as bridesmaid. The ceremony was witnessed by the immediate relatives and a few invited friends. After the nuptials a wedding dinner was served. Mr. and Mrs. Britten will remain in the city until next Monday, when they leave for Columbus. They have the best wishes of a host of friends.
