Corle of West Allegheny street, Martinsburg, announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Marjorie M. Corle, to James C. Brumbaugh, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Lee Brumbaugh of Fredericksburg on Thursday afternoon, July 22, at 5 o'clock at the home of Rev. Emmert Frederick, who officiated at the double ring ceremony. Prior to the ceremony Mrs. Frederick played "I Love You Truly" and the "Wedding March." The bride was lovely in a white street-length dress with gold accessories and wore a corsage of gardenias. The bridesmaid was Miss Rosella Baker, who wore a yellow street-length dress with white accessories and a corsage of sweetheart roses. The best man was Donald Stoudnour. Guests who witnessed the ceremony were Mr. and Mrs. Tobias C. Corle, Mr. and Mrs. J. Lee Brumbaugh. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Corle and son and Mrs. Donald Stoudnour. Immediately following the ceremony the couple left for a trip to Atlantic City. The bride is a graduate of the Martinsburg High school, class of 1946. The bridegroom is a graduate of the Morrison Cove High school in the class of 1943. He is a veteran of World War II, having spent 18 months in the service.
