Brumbaugh, son of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Brumbaugh of 109 Lloyd street. Rev. Herman Heisey officiated at the double ring candlelight ceremony. The church was decorated with palms and ferns and a large basket of gladioli. Miss Florlene Tilson played before the ceremony and accompanied James Pittman, soloist, who sang "Because," and "Oh, Promise Me." Given in marriage by her brother, Gerald Hippo. The bride was lovely in a white suit with all white accessories and corsage of red roses. Mrs. Dorothy Hall, sister of the bride, attended her attired in a light blue suit with matching accessories and a corsage of pink rosebuds. James Brumbaugh, brother of the bridegroom served as best man and the ushers were George Hall, brother in law of the bride and Roy Brumbaugh, nephew of the bridegroom. A reception for 50 guests was held in the home of the bride. The couple left for a honeymoon to Gettysburg and other points of interest in the east. The bride and bridegroom are both employed at Isenberg's super market, and both are graduates of Altoona High school. The bridegroom, a veteran of World war II, served three years in the navy, overseas in the Pacific for nine months. The couple will reside at the home of the bride.
