RECENT WEDDINGS.

Mr. John Callan and Miss Linnie Shingler, both of this city, were
happily married at 8.30 o'clock Thursday evening at St. Mark's
Catholic church by Rev. N. J. O'Reilly.  They were attended by Miss
Margaret Harshberger and Mr. C. A. Lasher.  After the ceremony a
reception was tendered the happy couple at the bride's home, 325
Fourth avenue.  The groom is an industrious young man, being employed
as a helper in the upper blacksmith shop.  The bride is an excellent
young lady.  Mr. and Mrs. Callan after a honeymoon trip in the east
will reside in the city.
