Mr. Philip Carlin, of 1522 Third street, and Miss Catherine L. A. Pfeffer, of 413 First avenue, will be united in marriage at nuptial mass at St. Mark's Roman Catholic church this morning at 7 o'clock, by the rector, Rev. Father James B. Egan. Their attendants will be Albert Pfeffer and sister, Miss Mollie. Mr. Carlin is employed as a blacksmith in the Fourth street shops, while his bride is quite popular among the younger social set of the city.
