A pretty church wedding was solemnized in the United Presbyterian church, ___nd avenue and Fourth street, last evening, when Rev. Henry Howard ___, pastor of the Second Presbyterian church, assisted by Rev. J. F. Moyer, of ___ Reformed church, united in the holy bonds of matrimony J. Burton ___ and Miss Anna Gray Hughes in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends. The bridal party, preceded by the following ushers: ___ R. E. Welsh, George Cummer, __ G. Sauers and Louis A. Miller, entered the church at 8 o'clock and advanced to the altar to the strains of Mendelssohn's wedding march, rendered by Miss Elsie Bookheimer. After the ceremony a reception was tendered a few friends at the home of the bride's parents, Dr. John G. Hughes and ___, 416 Chestnut avenue. The groom is a young man of excellent and moral ___ and holds a responsible position as representative of the International Schools? Of Correspondence of Scranton in this city. The bride is an excellent young lady and possesses those accomplishments which make a loving helpmeet to the man of her choice. Mr. and Mrs. Cessna for the present will reside at ___ Seventh avenue.
