  Epristus Cole yesterday fell into the clutches of the law, and now 
resides in the lock-up.  Mary Lautze charges him with being the father 
of her child.  A marriage will probably settle the difficulty.

  Alderman O'Toole, at high noon on Saturday, officiated at the wedding 
ceremony of Epristus Cole and Mary Lautz.  Epristus, who was an 
unwilling bridegroom, works in the company's blacksmith shop.
