ROBERT CRAINE [photo] Miss McKelvey Weds R. Crain Miss Marjorie McKelvey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hayes McKelvey of 211 First street, and Robert H. Crain, son of Mrs. Ira A. Taylor of 1017 Twenty-second avenue, were united in marriage on Saturday, June 19, in the Second Evangelical United Brethren church before their immediate families and friends. Rev. Max Houser officiated at the double-ring ceremony which was performed by candle- light. The church was decorated with palms and ferns. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was lovely in a white summer suit and wore a corsage of yellow rosebuds. Music was provided by the church organist, Mrs. Althea Irvin, who accompanied Mrs. Erdean Grissinger as she sang "Because" and The Lord's Prayer" as the couple knelt at the altar. Miss Janas Dick, friend of the bride, was maid of honor attired in a blue dress with white accessories and a corsage of pink rosebuds. William Shockey was best man and the ushers were Herman Wolfe and W. F. Masterson. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the YWCA. The mother of the bride chose a navy blue dress with matching accessories and the mother of the bridegroom wore a navy blue dress with white accessories. Both wore corsages of rosebuds. The bride is a graduate of the Altoona High school, class of 1944, and was formerly employed by Keatley and Nepper. The bridegroom is a veteran of World war II and is employed by the Linde Air Products company.
