A quiet home wedding was solemnized at 9 o'clock last evening when Rev. Ira E. Fisher, pastor of the Fifty-eighth Street Methodist Episcopal church united in marriage Mrs. Ella Patterson and Mr. J. Bruce Culbertson, both of Altoona, the ceremony taking place in the exquisitely appointed new home of the bridal couple at 320 Fifty-eighth street, Maplelawn, a suburb adjoining Eldorado. The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. John DeArment, of Pitcairn, sister and brother-in-law of the bride. Only a small company of close relatives and friends were present to witness the ceremony. The bride was attired in a quiet costume of dark blue silk, while Mrs. DeArment wore pearl gray silk. A feature of the dainty refreshments served later was the bride's cake, artistically decorated with the names of the bride and groom, and the date of the wedding day. It was baked by Mrs. D. H. Baird, of Eldorado. The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Culbertson unite in wishing them a happy married life. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Wednesday Morning, December 20, 1916
