DEAN - CLAPPER

  Charles E. Dean of 1314 Sixteenth street and Miss Ruth Clapper of 
Lakemont quietly slipped to Cumberland, Md., on Thursday and were 
married.  The couple returned late Thursday night, having postponed a 
wedding trip because of the influenza epidemic.  The groom is a city 
policeman, working the corner at Eleventh avenue and Bridge street.  
The bride is a well known resident of Lakemont.  They will reside at 
1314 Sixteenth street.
