At 7.30 o'clock Tuesday evening at St. John's parsonage, Mr. Frederick Derfey, of Iowa, and Miss Maggie Airhart, of Altoona, were united in marriage by Rev. Father Bosh, who in a very solemn and impressive manner pronounced the words which made the two hearts one. The bride is the accomplished daughter of Mr. John Airhart, and Mr. Derfey is to congratulated on the wise choice he has made. The groom is a popular young gentleman from the state of Iowa, where he is a farmer by occupation. He has made many friends in Altoona during his stay here, and all will be sorry to see him and his fair bride return to the far west, where they will make their future home. After the ceremony the bridal party partook of a grand supper at the residence of the bride's uncle on Thirteenth avenue and Twentieth street. Their attendants were Miss Julia McGibboney, of Tunnelhill, and Mr. Bartholomew Airhart, of this city. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Thursday, January 22, 1891
