DETWILER - ELSE.

  Mr. Edgar G. Detwiler of 402 Eighth avenue, Juniata, and Miss Ruth 
Isabelle Else, daughter of Mrs. Anna Else of 1224 Nineteenth avenue, were 
married at high noon Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Scheeler at 
Johnstown.  The ceremony was performed by Rev. Wilfred Tappert, pastor of a 
Lutheran church.  The bride is a graduate of the Altoona High school, class 
of 1918, and is favorably known among the young people of the city.  The 
bridegroom is an employe of the People's Natural Gas company.  Mr. and Mrs. 
Detwiler are receiving the congratulations of many friends at the home of 
the bridegroom's parents at 402 Eighth avenue, Juniata.
