Gailey, sr., on Aug. 9 at 4 o'clock when their daughter Margaret Anne became the bride of George D. De Vany, son of Mrs. Ida De Vany of Davenport, Ia. Rev. Charles A. Huyette, pastor of the James Creek Evangelical and Reformed church, performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride's attendant was Miss Marie De Vany, sister of the bridegroom and the bridegroom's attendant was Mr. James Gailey, brother of the bride. Miss Carolyn Jo Gailey, niece of the bride, was the ring bearer. The bride was attired in a white eyelet street length dress, carried a white Bible with a gardenia corsage. Miss De Vany was attired in aqua with a yellow rosebud corsage. After the ceremony the party had dinner at the Penn Koffee shoppe. Mr. and Mrs, De Vaney left for a trip to the Poconos. The bride is secretary to Mr. N. A. Calhoun of the purchasing department of West Virginia Pulp and Paper company.
