DUFFY - STIVER.

  Mr. J. Roy Duffy, of Hollidaysburg, and Miss Fannie E. Stiver, of 
Altoona, were united in marriage by the Rev. David T. Neely, at 1641 N. 
Caroline street, Baltimore, Md., on Christmas day.  They returned on 
Wednesday evening and held a reception at the home of the groom on 
Thursday evening where a large crowd assembled to extend their many 
wishes for their future happiness.  The bride is a very popular young 
lady and the groom is a well known young man and is employed as an 
electrician with the Pennsylvania railroad company.  Mr. and Mrs. Duffy 
expect to reside in Altoona.
