Dysart and Miss Mattie Miller. At six o'clock last evening at the residence of Mr. John Miller, 1114 Eighth avenue, the interesting and pleasant ceremonies connected with the marriage of his daughter Mattie to Christ. W. Dysart, son of Joseph Dysart of the firm of Joseph Dysart & Son, formerly of this city, but now employed by Superintendent Wilson at Elmira, took place. The services were performed by Rev. S. W. Duffield, pastor of the Second Presbyterian Church, and were witnessed by about sixty friends of the happy couple. The event takes from Altoona a young lady who is highly esteemed by a large circle of friends for her pure character and kind disposition. While they regret her departure they are pleased to know that she has accepted such a noble young man, who will make her a true husband. At the close of the ceremony an elegant supper was served, after which the guests repaired to the parlors and were entertained by music and games until a late hour, when they departed, pronouncing the occasion a very enjoyable one. The bride was the recipient of a number of beautiful and useful gifts. The newly-wedded couple left on the Philadelphia express last evening for a short tour through the East and will return to Elmira. May their path through life be pleasant and joyous.
