EBY - EDMISTON

  A very pretty wedding took place Saturday evening at the parsonage of 
the First Church of God, when Miss Goldie Winifred Edmiston became the 
bride of Howard Melton Eby, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Eby, of 602 
Fourth avenue.  The bridegroom is a well known local athlete, and is 
now serving on the U.S.S. North Carolina as a blacksmith.  They were 
attended by Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Morch, the latter being the sister of 
the groom.  Rev. Charles F. Reitzel performed the ceremony, after which 
a reception was held at the home of the groom, attended only by the 
immediate family.  The bride will reside at the home of the groom until 
Mr. Eby's return from the service.
