A quiet wedding took place at St. John's rectory at 7 o'clock last evening when Miss Elsie L. Mackenzie, daughter of D. A. Mackenzie of 1712 Fourteenth avenue and Mr. Charles A. Eby of 705 Chestnut avenue, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony. They were attended by Mr. Eugene Mackenzie and Miss Bertha Mackenzie, brother and sister of the bride. The young couple are well known in the city, the bride being a popular vocalist. Mr. Eby is an expert motor mechanic. On account of the recent death of the bride's mother the wedding was a quiet one. After the ceremony a luncheon was served at the Green Parrot tea room. Mr. and Mrs. Eby will reside at Saxton, Pa., for the present. Altoona Mirror, February 1, 1921
