A very pretty wedding was solemnized last evening at 8 o'clock in St. Luke's Episcopal church, when Miss Mary E. Fettinger, daughter of Mrs. Sarah Fettinger of Juniata became the bride of Mrs. Thomas J. Edmondson of Lancashire, England. The church was handsome [sic] decorated and was filled with a large assemblage of invited guests from this city, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Pittsburg and other places. The maid of honor was a sister of the bride, Miss Fettinger, of Buffalo. Miss Harriet Fettinger was bridesmaid. The bride's brother, Mr. Charles Fettinger, was the best man, and the ushers were Messrs. Alexander P. Wrigley and Theodore Fettinger, all of Altoona. The bridal party entered the church to the strains of Logengrin's wedding march played by Mr. Claude Jones. Rev. Robert Bell, vicar of the church, performed the ceremony, after which the wedding party repaired to the home of the bride's mother, on Second street, between Fifth and Sixth avenue, Juniata, where a delightful reception was held and a wedding supper served. The bride's cake was sent from England and was a delicious almond fruit cake. After an extended wedding tour they will take up housekeeping in Juniata. Altoona Mirror, Friday, December 29, 1905
