Vauclain and Mr. Robert Willard Fay were quietly united in marriage yesterday at noon, at St. Luke's Protestant Episcopal church by the Rev. Malcolm Du Pui Maynard, of Bellefonte. The young couple desired that the ceremony be unostentatious, and the wedding came as a surprise to their many friends. Only a few close relatives were present. Miss Vauclain is the oldest daughter of Mrs. Constant Andrew Vauclain, of 1331 Fifth avenue, and has been prominent in Altoona social affairs. The groom is affiliated with his father, R. J. Fay, of 2618 Broad avenue, in the wholesale grocery business of Fay, Hutchinson & Co., and has already taken a prominent place in the business life of the city. Returning from a wedding trip about December 1, the young couple will occupy their new home, just completed at Sylvan Hills.
