Fickes - Griffith.

  At 7 o'clock on last Wednesday evening Mr. John A. Fickes and Miss 
Sadie Griffith were united in marriage at the house of Mr. J. C. Burns, 
407 Cherry avenue, by Rev. T. P. Orner, in the presence of a number of 
invited guests.  After congratulations all sat down and did ample 
justice to an elegant supper.  The happy couple will take up the duties 
of housekeeping in a few days on Bell avenue, near Third street.  The 
good wishes of their many friends accompany them.
