Mr. William F. Filer, of this city, and Miss Ivy M. Palm, daughter of Mrs. E. H. Sell, of 410 Lexington avenue, were united in marriage last evening at 8.30 o'clock in the Fourth Lutheran church, by the pastor, Rev. D. S. Lentz. The bridesmaid was Miss Carrie Yingling, and the groomsman, Mr. Byron G. Palm, a brother of the bride. The ceremony was performed in the presence of a large party of the friends and relatives of the contracting parties. Immediately after leaving the church the guests repaired to the home of the bride, where a reception was tendered. Mrs. Filer received a nice lot of useful as well as valuable presents. The bride and groom departed on fast line for a wedding trip to Baltimore and Washington. Upon their return to this city they will go to housekeeping at once at 213 Howard avenue. Among the out of town guests who were present at the wedding and who are still visitors in the city are: Miss Cronnie Palm, of Englewood, Ill.; Mr. C. H. Garberich, wife and two children, of Harrisburg, Pa., and Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Garberich, of Scotland, Franklin county, Pa. Morning Tribune, Friday, June 23, 1899
