In reply to my request, Rev. J. H. Esterline has risen and explained why he was seen south of the Methodist Church so late as 10 o'clock P.M. a few nights ago. He admits that he joined Daniel Fix and Mrs. Shilling in the holy bonds of matrimony. Since the happy couple are "Fixed" it is not necessary to ask whether Rev. Esterline got a "shilling" for his fee. I suppose he received more than that, as the happy groom got a good big "Shilling," and the buxom bride, after many trials and difficulties, managed to "Fix" herself for life.
