FORRESTER - DOWNING.

  In St. Luke's church, at 6:30 last evening, Rev. A. S. Woodle 
pronounced the solemn words which united in marriage Mr. William A. 
Forrester and Miss Emma W. Downing, both of this city.  Mr. Forrester 
is a fireman in the service of the P.R.R., and a young man of excellent 
character, while Miss Downing, the young lady who has consented to 
share his journey through life, is the daughter of Rev. George W. 
Downing and a lady worth the name and position of wife.
