Mr. Valentine Freet, who is employed in the freight shops, has taken unto himself a wife in the person of Miss Rebecca Franks. The marriage took place in Harrisburg, the home of the bride, and the happy couple then journeyed to Altoona, where the evening was spent in receiving social visits from his many friends. During the evening the happy pair were serenaded by the Mountain City Band, of which Mr. Freet is an honorary member. Morning Tribune, Monday, December 22, 1879 MARRIED.
