S. P. Remer, pastor of the United Evangelical manse [sic] - at the home of the grandfather of the bride. The ceremony was performed in the Juniata Evangelical manse - at home to the lady who has for some years resided with her grandparent. She is socially and in church work well known in the borough and is a very charming young lady who has many friends to shower the nuptial venture with well wishes. Mr. Gable comes from Red Lion, near York, and has since New Year's Day been an employe in the Altoona P.R.R. car shops. He too has won friendship and admiration in a brief sojourn in Juniata and as a successful wooer is to be congratulated. After a little honeymoon trip to Red Lion the happy pair will make their home with the Rev. Mr. Remer at 911 Third street. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Monday Morning, February 19, 1917
